Earlier in the summer, I was chosen to participate in the Class Axe workshop through the CMC and Guitar Society of Toronto. This is a great opportunity for composers who have had little or no experience with writing for guitar, and includes several sessions with experienced guitarists and composer-mentors. The resulting pieces will be performed in Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver. Keep your eye on my events listing to see if you're able to attend one of the performances!

It’s only just begun but 2014 is already looking very exciting! I have recently completed my first opera scene and am thrilled that it will be premiered at the end of this month as part of U of T’s New Music Festival. Following that, I have a commission from Toronto’s Jubilate Singers that will be premiered in May. Shortly after that I will head out to Vancouver to take part in the Art Song Lab workshop which will conclude with yet another premiere.
More details on these and other exciting projects to follow!
